On January 29, 2025, President Donald Trump’s administration directed the Office of Management and Budget to temporarily halt the disbursement of grants and loans by federal agencies. Minutes before the order was to go into effect, a federal judge blocked the order from taking effect. Two days after issuing the spending freeze, the Trump administration rescinded the order. Now, federal grant administrators are reviewing grant programs to ensure they align with the current administration’s executive orders.
We’ve been here before. With federal grant programs being released, it is important to be prepared. In addition, there are state grant programs and foundation grant makers releasing solicitations and invitations to apply uninterrupted. Please join the GrantFinder Team in partnership with the National League of Cities where we review alternative sources of funding and how to prepare.
You will learn about:
- The current federal grant landscape and trends.
- Alternative non-federal funding sources.
- Best practices on how to seek and prepare to apply.
