Tara Paxton

Tara B. Paxton has over 30 years of experience advancing the planning and grant writing profession. As Township Planner for Brick, NJ, she leads initiatives in hazard mitigation, open space preservation, floodplain management, affordable housing, redevelopment and land use for 75,000 residents. She holds degrees in Marine and Environmental Sciences and a Master of Public Administration and is a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners. Tara has taught at Rowan University since 2022 and serves on Rowan’s Community and Environmental Planning Advisory Board. Tara teaches Planning and Grant Writing courses to under graduate and graduate students. Tara currently works as a grant writer for Lexipol.
