The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) created a public service announcement (PSA) featuring pet rescue footage from Marion County, S.C., following Hurricane Matthew and its flooding aftermath in October 2016.

Part of a series of localized public service announcement (PSA) videos designed to be shared with the public before and after flooding disasters, the following FEMA short film features Veterinary Technician Lorelei Schipke. She offers advice on how to leave pets and farm animals in a storm when they cannot be evacuated.

Access and share FEMA’s PSAs for flooding on YouTube.com.
