TULSA, Okla. — Applications will soon open for the Folds of Honor (FOH) scholarship, which provides life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders.

According to a press release, applicants can begin to apply on Feb. 1, 2023, at 9 a.m. EST, with the online portal staying open until March 31, 2023. This will be the first time families of fallen or disabled first responders will have the opportunity to be provided a scholarship by the FOH.

The FOH First Responder Scholarships are open to the spouse and/or dependent(s) of a first responder who has fallen or been catastrophically wounded in a manner that led to an inability to perform the function of their occupational duties.

All applications must be completed and submitted using the online application portal. Scholarships for up to $5,000 are awarded yearly and applicants must reapply each year if they are interested in continuing to receive funds from FOH. Offer notifications will be sent in mid-July, according to the press release.

People interested in supporting FOH’s mission to help fund educational opportunities for military and first responder families can become a Squadron member by pledging $13 per month to the cause. For more information, visit FoldsOfHonor.org.
