Municipal Marina Revenue Losses After Hurricane Irma

About 60 of the 100 boat slips are still damaged beyond use, and municipal revenues are down by half at the St. Augustine Municipal Marina.

ST. AUGUSTINE, FLA. -- Many docks and marinas took a hit when Hurricane Irma came through Florida. One marine still struggling is the St. Augustine Municipal Marina.

Revenue is down by half, and it will be a while before it’s fully up and running.

You can see this dock is temporarily being held together with boards and cables,” Sam Adukiewicz said as he points to the southern half of the municipal marina. He is the harbormaster here.

The marina is still in shambles after Hurricane Irma came through in September.
