3 Resources for Raising Govt Cybersecurity Awareness

Insider cybsercurity awareness is a top concern of local governments, but many don’t have programs to address it. These resources can get cities started.

A new poll by the Public Technology Institute found that insider cybersecurity awareness is a top local government concern.

According to StateScoop, the September poll found:

  • 42 percent of respondents have not performed a network security audit over the last year
  • 48 percent do not provide comprehensive cybersecurity awareness training to government employees
  • 62 percent of respondents do not have a formal breach response policy
