Police Tap Grants To Support Surveillance Project

Surveillance video and dashboard cameras can be an indispensable tool for police, but poor video quality can render some videos useless.

A new tool is now available to police in Beaver County that could help investigators glean more information from videos that might start off dark, grainy or too shaky to discern information.

Star Witness is a computer program that allows the user to clean up or clarify video for police conducting investigations.
