$30M in Indiana Crime Victims Grants

The ICJI provides grants for emotional and physical services to crime victims, including child abuse, sexual assault and violent acts like hate crimes.

The Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI) has $30 million for Indiana municipalities, agencies and non-profits that provide services for the emotional and physical needs of crime victims.

Priority will be given to applications that address support for victims of:

  • Child abuse
  • Domestic violence
  • Sexual assault
  • Violent crimes against the previously underserved

The underserved may include victims of federal crimes and survivors of homicide, assault, robbery, economic exploitation, driving under the influence crashes, childhood molestation, abuse, hate crimes and more.

Services are efforts that seek to stabilize lives after victimization, assist victims to understand and participate in the criminal justice system and provide them with safety and security.

There is a 20 percent program match required.

Applications are due on July 1.
