CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Transitioning to the civilian world can be a stressful time for a soldier.

Questions include what kind of work they’ll go into, where they’ll move to and what kind of skills they bring to the table.

Chief Warrant Officer 3 John Clement knows all about those stresses.

Clement, who is wrapping up his transition period from the Army this month, will take over a new post at Workforce Essentials in Clarksville as a Fort Campbell Soldier Transition Program coordinator.

The new position is meant to serve as another bridge helping soldiers find suitable jobs in the Middle Tennessee area, officials said. It’s also the latest development from Workforce Essentials to help find jobs for soldiers who would like to stay in the area.
