The city of Tecumseh has received a multimillion-dollar grant to renovate and preserve its town square.
The city applied for a downtown revitalization grant in 2010 to begin renovations of the area around the Johnson County Courhouse.
The city applied for $5 million in community development block grant funding from the Nebraska Department of Econcomic Development to upgrade the utilities and infrastructures around the square in downtown Tecumseh.
