Jersey City is among 10 entities in the state to receive a grant from the New Jersey Health Initiatives and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to support its Partnership for a HealthierJC initiative.
The $200,000 grant, which will be distributed over four years, will go toward enhancing community health across Jersey City in terms of clinical, behavioral, environmental and socioeconomic factors influencing public health.
The grant funds support multi-sector, community-focused coalitions under “NJHI: Building a Culture of Health in New Jersey – Communities Moving to Action.”
